I really like how you took that plain, boring letter and created something a lot more eye catching. I always cringe when I see things being sent home that look like a 1st grader did them. As teachers, we need to have professional looking newsletters, etc... because if we just throw something together ourselves, how can we expect our students to take the time (that we didn't) and do things correctly.
